The objective of SIGA (South India Garment manufacturers Association) Exhibitions is tobring together the garment manufacturers, retailers and related service providers to aconducive environment for promotion of trade. SIGA operates on lines similar to CMAI(Clothing Manufacturers Association of India). Due to the wide usage of SHOPER in Apparelretailing and wholesaling to maintain a closer contact with the trade Vedha Automationsthough an organization entirey different in nature, in the capacity of a supplier hadenrolled itself as a member of CMAI. This membership was further extended to SIGA also.

The SIGA exhibition for 1999 is being held at Hotel Holiday Inn, Bangalore from todayfor the next 3 days. Various organizations that include apparel makers, suppliers offabric and accessories and other organizations offering varied products and services tothe apparel industry are showcasing their products and services in this exhibition. VedhaAutomations, a long standing member of CMAI, is having a stall in this exhibition. SHOPER,the Retail Management Solution is being exhibited in this road show. Mr.Shoaib Ahmed,Partner, Vedha Automations is hopeful of the outcome. "We already have many apparelretailers among our clientele. We hope to consolidate on referencial business in tradeshows like this", says Mr Ahmed in a hopeful note.
