Here are some fun games you can play with balloons.

Balloon Dance: Choose dance partners. Each player holds 1 or 2 round balloons between their legs while trying to do a certain dance (often to outrageously fast music). When the balloons slip out, they have to sit down. Last couple to remain dancing on the dance floor wins. This could also work with little kids dancing freestyle (and it might be a good way to tire them out!)

Balloon Pass: Pass a balloon under your chin (or other body part) Use of hands is not allowed. Last player holding the balloon wins.

Balloon Relay 1: Use the round water bomb balloons. Line the players up in two rows. Have them run to the other side of the room or yard to inflate a balloon, sit on it and pop it, and then run back. First line to complete the tasks wins.

Balloon Relay 2: Line players up in two rows. Give them an inflated balloon. Have them put it between their knees and try to walk across the room. (After they struggle for a while, tell them it's easier to *hop* across the room than to waddle.) First line to complete the relay wins.

Balloon Dart Game: Put balloons on a bulletin board and have players throw darts at the balloons. Don't make it to hard for them to hit the balloons, and be sure to fill them tight so they're easier to break. Have some consolation prizes available and maybe some cooler prizes for people that break three or more.

Water-balloon toss: You would probably want to do this outside. This is similar to an egg toss. Have players break into teams of two and have them throw a water balloon to their partner. Those that survive take a step back and throw again. The team that throws it the farthest without breaking is the winner.

Over/Under Balloon Game: Line all the players up. Give them a balloon, and the first person takes the balloon and passes it under their legs to the next person, who passes it over their head to the next, and that person passes it thru their legs, and so on, till the last person gets the balloon, runs to the front, and the action continues. Some people really enjoy this game, and other times, it simply bombs. Anyway, it is a lot of fun with big, long, awkward balloons. The rule is they've got to hold the balloon with two hands, one on each end, as they pass it back - and believe me, it makes things rather difficult.

Balloon in a basket:ERROR MSG Have the player shoot the balloon into the basket. Place the basket close to the player and move it further away with each basket made.

Blowin Balloon race: Race balloons across the floor by blowing on them.

Balloon Stuff: Provide players with a large number of pre-inflated balloons and super large clothing. (3XX or larger sweat pants) Players see which team can stuff the most balloons into the oversized clothing being worn by one team member within a certain amount of time. Or as an added feature, provide the team players with uninflated balloons. At the sound of a whistle, people pick up the balloons off the floor and start blowing them up. Then have the player's bat the balloons forward and the "stuffers" collect them and stuff them into the sweats. After 2 minutes, the whistle is blown again and the "stuffee" has to pop all the balloons that are in his/her sweats. (Either throwing himself on the floor or up against the wall, or just popping them with his hands.) Whoever has all theirs popped first wins.

Volley Balloon: Blow up a large balloon and use it as volleyball. Do not allow the balloon to touch the ground or you are out.
