First of all, why is it so important to have an intelligent funeral plan for someone to follow? Because it's almost a guarantee that survivors will overspend on the final arrangements - by hundreds or even thousands of dollars - without one. There is the emotional upheaval of having lost someone close to them. There are time constraints to consider. There are dozens of on-the-spot decisions that have to be made. Plus, don't forget, there is a funeral home and cemetery and other providers trying to make the highest profit they can. Funeral Plan Funding Information The Society helps the member determine if they have adequate funding already in place to take care of the costs their final arrangements will require - and if not, the Society will provide information on the funding options that are available to make up the shortfall. Included: - Total estimated cost of member's planned funeral and burial, taxes included.

Funeral Plan Archival The Society helps the member protect his or her funeral plan from loss by storing a copy of it in the Society's archives, where it's always ready for immediate activation at the time of need. Access to the plan is also provided so the member may view it and make revisions when necessary. black jack strategieThe member will receive an identification card with a special coded access number, plus four (4) auxiliary membership cards to be used by the person(s) who will be handling the member's funeral arrangements someday. Funeral Plan Activation Upon the death of the member, any person who has possession of the member's coded access number can call toll-free 1-866-571-2772 and notify the Society to begin activation of the member's funeral plan as soon as possible. Included: - Funeral Home Selection Process: This is one of the key benefits of membership, because not knowing which is the "right" funeral home to use could mean the difference between paying $2,000 and $10,000 for the same funeral - despite the fact that the funeral homes offer comparable goods and services.
For the purpose of securing competitive price bids, the Society sends the member's instructions regarding goods and services to as many as 3 funeral homes in the area, including any the member may have stated as a preference. The Society will be able to present these bids to the family for the final decision. - Coordination of Member Discounts: This service is at the discretion of the member's funeral arranger. Selections will be available by fax or mail.
- Copies: The member's complete funeral plan - or portions of it - will be available via fax or e-mail to those who have been given the member's access code number.
